If you are experiencing domestic abuse, it is likely that you will suffer from ailments varying from depression or poor mental health to physical injuries following an attack. Health care providers such as GPs, nurses etc can provide you will medical attention and refer you onto relevant support organisations.
If you are concerned about your sexual health following an incident of a sexual nature, you can visit your local sexual health service that can carry out tests and provide you with any necessary medication. They will also be able to refer you to relevant support organisations in your area.
You have the right to keep yourself safe and this includes not being forced into having sex. It is not acceptable for your partner to not respect your right to say no to sex or ignore your wishes for safer sex.
