Lanuch of Men's Advice Line for Men Experiencing Domestic Abuse

 

April sees the launch of a helpline for men experiencing domestic abuse. Trained staff can offer confidential advice and support to men experiencing domestic abuse. Another branch of the helpline, Respect, is for men who are concerned about their own abusive behaviour. Visit the website to find out more

Strathclyde Police Monthly Drop In Sessions

 

If you or someone you know is affected by domestic abuse and would like to speak to the Police outside of a Police Station either to report a crime or just for some advice click here to find out more.

 

Lothian and Borders Police Roll Out LGBT Domestic Abuse Campaign

 

In April 2010, Lothian and Borders Police funded the project's Out of Sight, Out of Mind Campaign, to raise awareness of domestic abuse in LGBT relationships and highlighting what help is available to LGBT people experiencing domestic abuse.

Lothian and Borders Police have been distributing the campaign posters and leaflets throughout the region in local Police offices and NHS health centres and hospitals. To read more click here.
