Children & Young People

This section has some signposts to support for children and young people. It also discusses some of the issues around children and young people that affect LGBT people experiencing domestic abuse.

Signposting to Services

This section will signpost to services currently available. It is by no means an exhaustive list.

Women’s Aid – all women’s aid groups across Scotland now have staff to support children and young people. However, not all Women’s Aid groups have a service a young person can self-refer to or access out with Refuge. We will make this information available in this section soon.  In the interim, please contact the local Women’s Aid group to find out about their specific children and young people service.
